As I attempt to write my annual “Year in Review” blog post, I realized that I never actually wrote one last year.
The reason I didn’t write that post was because in between Christmas and New Year last year, I was involved in a terrible car accident ~ completely totaling my car and, in fact, nearly died. <<< yeah, this latter part I haven’t really shared here before.
So, THAT’S how I started my 2018 and my car accident was just the beginning, as my year was filled with SO many lows.
It was also, however, filled with an immense amount of fabulous highs and successes! Revisiting and recapping all of this is taking me some time and I, frankly, I don’t remember it all. *Thinking about contacting my therapist to see if I can borrow her notes!
Anyhoo, as I gather my thoughts and prepare for my post (pretty sure it’s going to be titled “2018 ~ The Emotional Rollercoaster”), tonight is the last night of 2018 …
… and this girl is going to be painting the town red! Happy New Year, Everyone!

WOW! I didn’t know 2018 was filled with so many challenges. You always are so joyful and focused on the wonder of life. All those pictures of with the Chico’s girls in New Mexico and Mexico… I would never suspected that there were these painful undertones in your year. Nope – the accident was just the beginning. When I tell people about my year, they’re jaw drops.
