Ok, so I must have been in some sort of altered state.

Perhaps it was the thrill of being in New York City for Fashion Week and/or the nervousness of my future stroll down the catwalk … I dunno.
But while strolling the streets of NYC I popped into Lord & Taylor … simply to wash my hands, I must point out. #PinkySwear … and something compelled me to purchase yet another pair of shoes.
#ButTheyreKarlLagerfeld
Now really, do I need another pair of shoes? I mean, you all saw the shoe wall … or, at least, one of them.
Alright ~ so maybe I’m not being entirely honest here (plus, I posted my little spree on Instagram) but I actually purchased 4 pairs of glorious shoes on my hunt for the ladies room. #DarnYouLordAndTaylor
Do you think we can we just keep this between us gals?

Dream shoe wall, jaime!
I very much doubt it!! But the thrill of being in NYC and walking in a fashion show to boot–I think you can be forgiven!!!
One can never have too many shoes, there is no question 🙂 And I had to have that red poncho! Which I just bought and scored at Chico’s for $19.99!!!!!! Happy Valentine’s Day, Jamie!
Right? And I actually scored it for $9.99 on some special Chico’s blow-out sale!
I blame the great styles that are out there. If there weren’t so many cool ones, I wouldn’t need so many!! Right?
XOXO

Yes you do and guilt is so overrated!
(for sure)
Of all the washrooms in NYC. Hmmmm. Good for you.
HA! (well, I was looking for a fashionable one ….)
OK!!!Fess Up! JUST HOW MANY SHOE WALLS DO U HAVE??
Those shoes…and that poncho! #LOVE
Well, from a former New Yorker who lived/worked there for 30 years, the stores & boutiques are eye candy. They draw a woman in for a quick look-see, you try on a pair, walk around in them a bit then Voilà, you’re at the counter using your credit card. I was mostly at Bloomingdale’s 4th floor shoe salon on 59th & Lexington (the east side). The store had new management and were having a sale. On everything! I sauntered up to the 4th floor and came out an hour or so later with 4 pairs of designer shoes. Two of them included a pair of Ferragamos which I packed for a trip to Thailand. That was August 1990; now I shop online esp. for boots. You’re stirring up some great New York shopping memories.
You’re mine kind of gal!
When in Rome……..
I like how you think …
