A Must Stay In Albuquerque

As part of my ongoing goal to share with you all All Things New Mexico, today’s post is my latest video to the #MyNewMexico #MyHeritageHotelsAndResorts series. This series is in partnership with Heritage Hotels and Resorts and together we are “all about” showing you the beauty and uniqueness of this fine state.

The first video in this series was quite fun to shoot and there are many more in the video pipeline (such as learning how to cook traditional dishes “the New Mexican way”, trolley rides (you’ll LOVE where the trolley stops) and even ghost tours … just to name a few.) with all of the videos in the 2-4 minute range and I’ll be cranking them out every 15-ish days or so.

NOW ~ on today’s video I’m sharing with you a place where you can actually lay your head down at night inside of a WORK OF ART! That’s right … not just art, but fantastic Native American Contemporary Art.

Hi, David — YES, they currently have a little over 25 artist rooms but their goal is to ultimately make EVERY room an artist room!

At first it reminded me of the Wilderness Lodge on Disney property in Florida, where we took the kids years ago. Then you opened a door… and….we’re not in Disney anymore. Lol. Love-love-love the Culture. Culture, absolutely needs to be expressed and taken advantage of, no matter where you travel.
