Celebrate The Moment ~ Cue The Confetti

Well, I did it.  … I FINALLY did it.   I wrote a book.  (insert emoji applause here.)

Well, okay  … I didn’t really write one, I actually just created one online and I’ve been wanting to do this for a very long time. Let me please explain …

You see since I started my blog, I have been posting 3 blogs posts a week, nearly every week.  I’ve been pretty consistent with my postings every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for almost EIGHT years now.  Do you have ANY IDEA how MANY posts that is??!!  … I don’t either. Actually, I was kind of hoping you’d help me with the math. 

Anyhoo, posts include images … MANY images, and I have always wanted to create a book highlighting some of my favorite images/collaborations from the blog and some of the accomplishments it has achieved over the years. And FRIENDS, I created this book just for ME … it’s a little giftie to myself from ME to ME.

I decided to work with the experts, Confetti, to create this book.

But as I said, for my book I focused on special images/moments from my blog that have a special meaning to me. So I’d like to share just a few of those moments here with you.

Starting with the image on the left. 

This was one of my favorite collaborations where the brand asked me to channel my special Style Icon which is, of course, the fabulous Ms. Coco Chanel. SUCH a great memory and I kind of felt like I nailed it.   You can read that post here. 

The image below on the right is when I finally started my YouTube channel …

… and about a year after starting it, I realized I needed another video explaining what my YouTube is actually about.  I was glad that I created that video because it’s almost like a video business card of my work.  You can watch that video here. 

And the image below on the left is when I came *this* close to being on the cover of Redbook Magazine!

This was such an awesome experience as I entered a contest to be on their cover and Redbook received 10’s of thousand’s on entries.   A team at Redbook then whittled it down to 25 different women to be considered for the cover – and I was one of the 25!  You can read about that experience here.  * To see more of the book I created for myself and why I selected certain images, check out my IG stories. 

So I’m really enjoying my bespoke book from Confetti …
