Today I want to share two really great brands that have STEPPED-UP versions of classic shoes for Spring, but before I do that I also want to share a secret little resource that I recently stumbled upon.
OK ~ so have you ever wanted to purchase a major Designer perfume online but was unsure of just how exactly it would smell on you? I certainly have and I’ve always been afraid to pull the credit card trigger because of such perfumes price. I mean … what if I hate it??! So if this has been you too, then you NEED to get to know The Perfumed Court.
It is here where you will find perfume samples, perfume decants, Indie perfumes, vintage perfumes AND discontinued fragrances. I had been wanting to try the much-coveted Baccarat Rouge 540 Extract de parfume but I did not want to spend the $845.00 in order to do so. So I popped on over to The Perfumed Court and ordered a sample of it. There were a variety of sample sizes to choose from and I went ahead and ordered a few other samples of other perfumes I’d been wanting to try as well.
The samples arrived in just a few days and I’ve got to say that I am SO GLAD I sampled the Baccarat Rouge 540 because not only did I NOT like how it smelled on me, neither did my Husband! (He actually asked me to please wash it off.) I DID however, love a different fragrance sample and I have now purchased a larger sized bottle of it. What a GREAT experience this was and it saved me from making a big ‘ole purchasing mistake. Anyhoo ~ I just wanted to share how fab this was and this wonderful website with you. OK ~ let’s talk Spring shoes, and in particular, the CLASSICS. Here are two brands that I think are doing them right, starting with Marmi Shoes.
This great stepped-up AIKER loafer comes in 10 different colors and is made from an ultra-soft glove leather … but it’s the chain detail for meeeeee!
And this Aliz cap-toe slingback is available in 7 different shades and is forever a wardrobe staple.
Although I just recently gave a chef’s kiss to Vivaia recycled shoes here on the blog, the following two kitten heeled shoes had not yet landed in my closet.
The Natasha comes in 9 different colors, is WASHABLE and did I mention that the kitten heel is the dream heel for Spring?
And lastly, who doesn’t love a leopard print anything? The Stella is totally bringin’ it home.
