After I wrote this blog post highlighting French Kande jewelry, many of you told me how much you love French Kande and that you’ve been collecting her pieces for years. I can understand why. Not only are Kande’s pieces gorge, they’re also hand made to order so you can actually request a certain bracelet wrist size and/or even exchange a medallion for another where that option is available. How fab is that?
So today I wanted to ask all you long-time collectors … do have THIS necklace?
Last week I shot a video (that I pulled all of these images from) highlighting this adjustable Alsace chain necklace with Republique medallion and tassels and it turns out to be one of French Kande’s Best Selling necklaces ever as it can be styled in so many different ways!
In my video, I shared 4 fab ways to style this necklace so let’s break it down. Firstly, its chain length is 72″ and has quite a bit of engineering in its design, allowing the weight to be distributed between the medallion and the tassels so that wherever you place weight it should not shift and/or fall.
Below I placed the medallion at my décolleté, double wrapped the chain around my neck and then tied the tassels below the medallion. It’s not moving. I love this look.
HOWEVER out of all of these 4 looks this look below is my fave, FAVE! I just placed the medallion at the top of my shirt collar, wrapped it around my neck and then tied a loose knot in front. It looks like a bolo tie to me AND, frankly, it rocks on!
This 3rd look is similar to the first look but it was my way of testing the weighted engineering for myself by placing it to the side of my décolleté with the medallion on top of the tied tassels. AGAIN ~ it did not move.
And lastly, I wore the medallion low and the tassels high which most people might be inclined to style the reverse … but I just wanted to try something different. It worked.
Now ~ what’s not shown are looks that I shared on my IG stories to including tying this necklace like a scarf and YESSSSS, as a belt! #ImASmarty
If you’ve been thinking about purchasing something from French Kande but not sure where what to choose, this oh-so-versatile necklace may be a great place to start. Shop for it HERE.

Definitely have this necklace on my wish list!
Jamie, my friend Millie McMahon and I were also
at Antiques Roadshow in Santa Fe last Tuesday.
Sorry we didn’t see you there! Millie’s item was quite
valuable, mine not so much, but we both had fun,
and plenty of time for our favorite haunts afterward.
Congratulations on all you do! Keep it up! Miss you!
