Tightening My Belt + Why You May Not Be Seeing My Images

Happy Monday, friends! Before I go into my blog post for today, I’ve recently received a few emails from a handful of you advising that you can’t see the images on my newsletter alerting you to a new post when it arrives in your inbox. So I wanted to share what I’ve learned about this situation.

I alerted the web team who manages my blog site and they took a deep dive into the “guts” (back end) of my site and ran a variety of tests, seeing as both THEY and I can see the images on my newsletter when it arrives … as does Mailchimp, the third party who actually sends the newsletter to your inboxes. After a weeks worth of testing, they have determined that those of you who don’t see the images on the newsletter, the issue is actually with your email server. I believe this to be true as well, because I receive my newsletter on both my personal iCloud email address AND my blog email address. The images load on my iCloud email, but do not load on my blog email address – two different email servers. The team indicated that is issue may have something to do with updates you may have run on your various electronic devices and/or the email server you use will perform updates to their platform periodically that could potentially cause a problem with image loading. The team does, however, believe that image loading issue should ultimately will work itself out. #fingerscrossed

This all being said ~ if you click on the actual post from the newsletter in your inbox, all the images for that post are there for the viewing. So please do that as the posts themselves are where all the ACTION is!
