The Hot Ticket

My intent was to do a quick blog post today to talk about the Hot Ticket at the moment ~ Trinny London makeup.  But before I do that, I wanted to touch briefly on the Premium Collection, MOTF, from SheIn clothing.

Those of you who have been readers for quite sometime know that I have a bit of a love affair for the SheIn brand, as they’re one of my go-to sites for SUPER reasonably priced, trendy items. I recently discovered  MOTF and it has completely caught my eye. If you’re a Zara fan, then MOTF will be right up your alley.  It’s totally fashionably stepped-up, is slightly higher priced than the lions share of items on SheIn’s site and substantially nicer quality.

I’ll be sharing more MOTF pieces in the future but so far, I’m really quite pleased.  Okay  ~ let’s now talk about Trinny London makeup!  If you’re not familiar with Trinny London products, she/they have a HUGGGGE cult following and are everywhere on social media.

For over 20 years, Trinny Woodall has worked with women from all over the world to help them find the best skincare and the most hard-working, perfectly matched, foolproof makeup.  In her quest for the perfect tone and consistency, she would do things like mix a stick foundation with a liquid, blend a lip tint with a gloss ~ essentially mushing these different types of products together to create CUSTOM colors for her clients and would then decant these mixtures for each client into little pots. Those little pots then became her big idea: creating portable, versatile ranges of makeup, with colors to suit every woman! Trinny London was then born  ~  and the rest is history. 

What everyone, and I mean EVEYONE, loves about the Trinny London collection is that 1.) it’s portable (you create STACKS of product to carry with you)  and 2.) her Match2Me system (combining your skin tone/color, hair color and eye color) is remarkably accurate!! 

Not wanting to be one who is left out, I had to create a stack for myself.  This was quite difficult as there are lots of product to consider from SPF’s to concealers, to eyeshadows, lip colors, blushes, highlighters, balms and much MUCH more.

I decided for my first go-round to keep things simple, and after using the Match2Me system, I selected eyeshadows to create a great smokey eye and 2 LipToCheeks that will work on both my lips and cheeks. I then topped my stack off with a fab stackable mirror. What’s fun about this entire system is that the products can be applied with your fingers AND they stay on all day.

I have to say, though, that the Trinny London product that I like the best is not part of a stack … it’s a tube. A tube of MAGIC called BFF Eye which Trinny likes to refer to as an eye serum having a baby with a concealer.  I LOVE this product and you can learn all about it here.
