So I’ve mentioned this 54 times before (which coincidentally, also happens to be the exact same number of days my hubby and I have been living the #quarantinelife … but who’s counting?) that I often post things on Instagram that simply don’t shop up here over on Le Blog, so today I’m sharing what I’ve been up to over there.
Let’s start with this one. I posted this on a Monday, or MONDAZE as I now like to refer to it, and really, I was just trying to highlight my little $8 purse find.
But, according the the comments I received, my shoes were the star of the show.
NEXT I shared that, seeing as I have oodles of time on my hands lately, I was preparing my very pale bod for some much needed self-tanning action. I used the MicrodermaMitt Deep Exfoliating Body Scrub Mitt (they also have one for the face and one to remove makeup, EVEN waterproof mascara).
I did exfoliate. I haven’t yet self-tanned. I’M GETTING THERE!
Sooooooooooooooo, I wore Mom jeans.
… but I really love this one. *code TURQUOISE15 gets you an extra 15% off.
I’ve been giving my skin a total makeup break while chilling at home and this High Vibe facial mist from Mukama Botanica is the bombdotcom, as is their Superfood facial serum.
Their ingredients and aromatics are inspired by sacred Hawaiian plant healing. Mahalo, Mukama Botanical.
And, lastly ~ I have now OFFICIALLY broken out the hats as my hair is *this close* to becoming tragic.
What have YOU been up to???
Great pics but your hat/duster-jacket/boots shot is fabulous! Want, want, want!! I am editing book 5–heads down but almost through!! We’ll be celebrating once #lockdown is lifted 🙂 Happy #CincoDeMayo, Jamie!
Book 5! That’s amazing, Veronica. Can u believe I forgot about Cinco de Mayo? I have zero understanding of what day/date it is.
Love all the relatable posts on IG. Like you my face is make up free more then half the time. Work out gear is my go too! I skipped on the box of color and pulled out the hats. Doing my own mani pedi and mini facials. Reconnected with the library and enjoying the Ebook app. Working from home and adjusting to Zoom meetings. Running through the Bosque and connecting with my 16 year old son.
Just writing about It all makes me realize … Gratitude for the little things.
That’s great, Mitchie! I’m mainly makeup free, cooking up a storm and my kitchen drawers are ORGANIZED!!
Hopefully by now, people realize they should be following you on Instagram.
Your captions are some of the funniest out there and your photos are always on point!
That’s SO sweet of you – thank u! I AM a lot more loosely goosey over on IF for sure. xo!
Where can I get that duster/jacket? It’s fabulous!
Oh, Carol – it’s so old and I’ve had it for over 15 years but it came from a designer trunk show in Houston.
