Let’s talk about what’s on everybody’s mind ~ coronavirus.

I’m super struggling over here as I write this blog post because talking about fashion doesn’t quite seem like the right thing that I should be doing.  I should be talking about the importance of properly washing your hands, about wiping down every possible surface and not venturing out unless you absolutely have to … RIGHT? There’s just so much news and data to take in it’s quite overwhelming and boy, Oh-BOY does this virus situation change in the blink of an eye!!  So to talk about things like fashion seems kind of frivolous.

My blog, however, has always been my safe place. It’s where I go to when I need to escape the scariness of the moment and it has provided a place to remove myself from the immense sadness and loss I’ve experienced over the past few years.  It’s also how I earn my living and it truly brings me great joy! (Have you ever said that your job truly brings you joy?) So it is my hope that, in some little way, my posts also bring you joy and maybe an occasional cackle out loud, too.

Which is why today I wanted to share that it’s OK to wear more than one animal print at once.

Lifestyle Blogger, Jamie Lewinger of More Than Turquoise, wearing NAOT Lodos clog

It is … and you can.  The trick is to pair one similar animal print with another, like a leopard print kimono and cheetah print clogs. These two prints are so similar and ‘play nice together’ in the sandbox. Introducing a completely different animal print into the mix can make you look like you’re wearing the entire jungle. You want to avoid that.  #YoureWelcome.

Ok ~ so meanwhile, FRIENDS, I’ll still be here. I hope you will be here, too.  Stay safe, everyone … OH, and practice your #SocialDistancing. XO!
