I know …. I know! You’ve been wondering where my latest video has been as part of my series #MyNewMexico and my partnership with Heritage Hotels and Resorts, and the truth is my (video) life had somewhat gotten away from me. What with all this flying back and forth to New York and scheduling conflicts with the FAB star of my latest video, we just got a bit behind but I’m totally back on track and excited to bring you the latest.
Today’s video has me meeting Native American fashion designer, Patricia Michaels, who I’ve been wanting to meet for like … forever. If you’re somehow not familiar with Patricia, she is not only a spectacular fashion designer who was first runner up on Project Runway Season 11, and was asked to return for Project Runway All Stars … she also gained national recognition for Peabody Essex Museum show, “Native Fashion Now” and international attention after receiving the highly prestigious Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, Arts and Design Award from the museum board of directors!
When you watch this video you’ll see just how talented and FUN Patricia is and we giggled SO MUCH that we basically had to stop playing the game we were playing together.
