Long time blog followers know that I LOVE to thrift … actually kind of fancy myself a pro at it … and I believe that thrifted items should be included in everyone’s wardrobes ~ so when Swap.com reached out to advise that they wanted to gift me with a $100 credit to their site to see what I all could pull together well little Ms. T.P. (“Thrifting Pro”) was totally up for the challenge.
If you’re not familiar with Swap .com they live for the thrill of finding something unique. They add thousands of new items every day, so you’ll never know what you might find. And while many online consignment sites are focused on high fashion for women only, Swap .com is everyone’s (women, men, children, baby & more!) thrift store, with both practical and cool items that you can’t get anywhere else. But what I love MOST is that I can shop online and not have to fight for a dressing room and pick through all those consignment store racks.
This all being said ~ let me please show you what $100 at Swap .com looks like as I purchased 3 pairs of shoes, 2 sweaters, 2 pairs of jeans, 1 blouse and 1 dress and created 4 different outfits by adding in my own accessories.
Firstly, I wanted these brand new Betsey Johnson sandals that were $26 which had me using more than 25% of my credit …
but I simply had to have them so I knew I’d need to stretch the remaining balance. Ok ~ so here’s how it all shook out.

I don’t know about you, but I get a little “high” when I hit the “bargain of the day”. I almost want to skip then run outta the store cuz I’m feeling so proud of my find, and that I don’t want the sales clerk to call me back in, to say there’s been a mistake. But YOU…you take it to an art form. So good!!!

Thank you so much for letting us know about swap.com. I curate my closet at least twice a year and just cleaned it out a few months ago. I don’t need anything in the way of clothes, shoes, boots or handbags, so I’ll use the site to sell the items I no longer need. It’s very much appreciated when companies like this one reuse/repurpose; striving to keep clothing out of landfills. I’d rather bless someone with clothing I no longer wear. You’re really rockin’ it in pics 7-10 and I love that Sir Valentino has made an appearance. He’s positively adorable!
I have’t yet sold on Swap .com yet, BUT I’ve had other people tell me tat they did and it was a pleasurable experience. (*** that little Valentino is always by my side … and I LOVE it!)
