2015 has been a year of immense growth, not only for my blog, but personally, as well.  It’s been an amazing, empowering and absolutely THRILLING year.  When I look back at this year’s worth of blog posts ~ every post has a story … every post lead me to a new venture and/or project. There is just so much and I don’t have enough time, or blog space, to share it all with you.

And, so, as this being the very last day of the year, I thought it would be fun to revisit a few of my fave posts and pictures and tell you the backstory about them … you know, all the 411.  Yay! Let’s get started.

JANUARY

This picture was my first post of this year and it was really the first time that I starting “mural posing”. Frankly,  I have no idea why I didn’t do more of this before, but I have now become The Master at finding the perfect mural/wall to highlight whatever my outfit might be.  #SheStatesModestly

FEBRUARY

February was a fun month filled with new blog sponsors and various collaborations.   Here boohoo challenged me to channel my favorite style icon and I, of course, chose THE style icon herself ~ Ms. Coco.  Boohoo gifted me with a certain amount of product to create my look and when my selections arrived, one of the cuffs was missing.  I wrote to my contact at boohoo and told them that it I thought it was simply impossible for me to pull this look off without having both cuffs.  I felt their eye roll.

Actually, boohoo was really quite nice and after I received the additional cuff and when the post went live, they couldn’t believe my attention to detail … all the way down to the brads on the chair itself.  The post was shared everywhereHey ~ I’m a Professional here!  #NotMyFirstRodeo

Additionally, in February, I attended New York Fashion Week. I posted this picture, which I refer to as my WooHoo Collage, on both Facebook and Instagram with the comment:

Watch out, New York.  New Mexico is comin’ to town!”   #TwoSnapsUpAndAllThatStuff

MARCH

This sequined sleeved jacket was one of the most purchased items on my blog … another item has since surpassed it and I’ll get to that in just a bit … and this picture was the most “pinned” picture from the blog on Pinterest having been pinned over 100 times!

You get the point.

APRIL

I had spent a weekend at Palacio de Marquesa in Taos, New Mexico compliments of Heritage Hotels and Resorts and had posted this picture on Instagram.  It was my most liked image on Instagram for quite sometime and they say that if you post something blue on Instagram, you will receive more likes on those pictures.  Personally, I think it’s because I was wearing my FAB New Mexican crafted Native American jewelry.

MAY

I liked this day of shooting with my husband because it had literally poured all morning long and we were running out of time because he had to get to work.  Miraculously, the rain stopped for about 10 minutes and we were able to capture what I needed  done.  I couldn’t believe how many inquires I received about my orange trench that I had purchased at some random travel store overseas and wore the coat quite a bit this past Spring.   I have since sold the coat on my Poshmark account for exactly what I paid for it.  #Snicker

Aren’t you selling on Poshmark?

The equally inquired about cool snake four finger ring is still available, however.  You’re welcome.

JUNE

I got kind of crazy with a swimsuit cover-up … that many of you thought was quite creative of me and sometime in this month I reached 10K followers on my More Than Turquoise Facebook page (!!) and so I made an announcement thanking everyone there.

This is the image I like to use for announcements on Facebook, Instagram, etc.  Also, the horn really comes in handy around my house when I announce that dinner is ready, that the UPS person has just pulled into the driveway and that I’ve just saved us a ton of money by purchasing my latest pair of shoes on major sale.

JULY

This is my all time favorite picture/mural from this year,  If you’re a local, this mural is located on Central Avenue and 7th Street and was painted by artist, Kevin Vigil.  This picture was also included in an article about me, and fellow blogger, Amy, of Santa Fe Street in the Albuquerque Journal which indicated that we were putting New Mexico on the fashion map.

The article was written by Susan Seligman, who has since become a blog follower AND, let me please just say, is quite the chic fashionista herself.

AUGUST

Wearing the trending lace-ups in Santa Fe … these are similar …

and this cute white top from SheIn, which is the most purchased item on my blog … EVER.  The folks at SheIn, and their children who are currently in college, thank you.

SEPTEMBER

Not only did I find myself rockin’ the overalls in early September, I also found myself invited again to New York Fashion Week, LA Style Week and Phoenix Fashion Week!  I couldn’t believe how frenetic (yet fabulously exciting) it all was.

It was at Phoenix Fashion Week where I was personally invited to attend by the amazingly talented Laura Tanzer ~ who also allowed me to do this:

Yep.  This outfit walked right off the runway and over onto me.

OCTOBER

Everyone loved the baby foot … it was either that or the Loubies ….

NOVEMBER

and my great pair of studded boots.

DECEMBER

Lastly, these are my two favorite pics from December posts because I got to highlight yet another fabulous mural in our fab city, as well as highlight my treasured New Mexico 💠 bling 💠.

I’d like to take this moment to thank every one of you for faithfully following and supporting my blog. I hope you’ve enjoyed walking down memory lane with me today. I’d also like to thank my loving husband for his terrific photography and his love and understanding after these three crazy years of blogging.

I am counting all of my blessings ~ and wishing YOU more.  Happy New Year, my dear friends! 🎉
