Know what I love about wearing anything menswear inspired?
They’re pretty much guaranteed to never, ever … evah go out of style AND I consider them to be a super smart buy as you’ll be able to wear them for many years.
My recent smart buys are all wrapped up in this outfit. Starting with this black tuxedo-esque top from Shopaholic, (where I scored some major deals on sample sales … you can too!) these pants from Zara and this hat that I recently purchased in Hong Kong ~ but my fave smart buy menswear inspired item from this outfit are my shoes from Nordstrom.

Love the shoes from the “Mothership” (Nordies).
Nordies IS the Mothership ~ until you visit the shoe department at Galeries Lafayette in Paris. Their shoe selection is so immense…you just stand there and weep. 🙂
Those shoes are awesome! They are also really, really cool in the nude nubuck with the white heel. Hmmmm, I see a purchase in my future.
I stood in Nordstrom and debated over the two colors for about an hour. I u-n-d-e-r-s-t-a-n-d!

Really cool outfit! Yet, those black shoes bring back fond memories of my Grandma, who wore those shoes daily, danced a mighty dance, and knew everything that I was doing Wrong!!! So, in them, you will be wise, ever so wise——–
