With the exception of a few much needed downpours over this Memorial Day weekend, the weather here in New Mexico has been PERFECTION.
So perfect, that I broke out my sleeveless dress and treated everyone to the first public viewing of my non-sunkissed skin.
I wore this (now sold out) dress from Sosie. I stumbled upon Sosie a few months ago while surfing another bloggers site. So very glad that I did. Their pricing is great, they have super cute stuff and their shipping is amazingly FAST.
Both my dress and my sunnies are from Sosie. My sandals are Zara and are soooooo 2 seasons ago and we all know that I always enjoy wearing my locally crafted Native American jewelry.
And, so, as we enjoy this Memorial Day ~ it is important that we all remember what today is.
Today is the day that we honor and pray for all of those who have lived lives of service and have made sacrifices, especially the ultimate sacrifice ~ their lives, for us and for others. I am truly thankful to every courageous man and woman who has served (and serves) our country so that I have the freedoms that I do today.

We Veterans and retired military salute you on this Memorial Day. Thank you for remembering our fallen who would have enjoyed your outfit and shoes as well—-no combat boots and veteran look here. We are grateful for that!!
