I kinda have a thing for anything Alexis Bittar. I mean…I guess I have a “thing” for him. I’ve got a gum shrine hidden in my closet with his image on it. Is that a “thing?”
Alexis Bittar makes the yummiest, most stunning lucite jewelry mixed with semi-precious stones and other metals that I have ever seen. This pair –
…happens to be my go-to. I can dress them up or down, they match my hair and pretty much go with everything.
Mine are no longer available, but these are similar ~ some are even on SALE:
Top Left || Top Right || Bottom Left || Bottom Right
Now, if those earrings didn’t make you salivate, check out some of these other amazing Bittar creations:
Lucite Hinged Cuff – I own it. I love it. It’s fab.
Tressage Chrysocolla Necklace Seeeeeee ~ is he a jewelry God, or what?
Orbit Ring – also on sale! OH ~ I could just go on and on and on….
And for those of you who didn’t know who Alexis Bittar was before this post…
Really?
I’d get some but do I have to go to my IRA first?
GORGEOUS STUFF! . . . with bits of Turquoise—even! (No wonder you have a “thing”.)
I became aware of AB in the mid-80’s in NYC on 5th Ave. Later, I bought a set in Mexico. However, at the time, his designs were only of Lucite. They were also featured on Sex and the City. I only have my original set. But the stones he sets are are tempting. There is a store in SF that sells his line.
Oh- girl— keep those forever! I’m totally jelly.
Love, love, love Alexis Bittar. I got married wearing a pair of his gorgeous gold lucite earrings. I still wear them all the time. You are so right… they work with jeans and with evening wear!
I have been collecting for years. LOVE * LOVE * LOVE. Goes with everything. I got a fab large cuff in NY in December . Just goes to show – great taste – like great minds -….so on and so forth
yeah, i’m a fan and drooling right now!
