Did you get snow at your house yesterday?
We didn’t either…
But the weather is quickly turning and I’m ready for it because… gurrrl, I’ve got my BOY hat! Do you have your BOY hat, gurrrl?
This is the year of the hat, cap, fedora, beanie…whatever it takes to keep your head warm and stylish! I purchased mine from make me chic but they are long gone… because, gurrrl, I ordered mine months ago.
I am a total hat wearer – especially when the hair isn’t quite right. I think hats are a great way to express your personality and to pull an outfit together. Here are some hats you might consider, and not just because your hair seems lame:
Maison Martin Margiela ||| Any hat from Brixton
Anthropologie ||| Brooks Brothers
Brixton has awesome hats, but don’t miss out on the one from Anthropologie – excellent price! You should not fear hats – give them a try. Who knows, you may even get one of these?
Fashion queen is one thing , but making it snow !!!
a little known power of mine!
All of a sudden anthropologie is my favorite subject! LOVE the hat!!!!
Mine too!
Love them all! I’m a hat- aholic from way back !
I love your blog. It always makes me smile!
Thank you so much! I’m “all about” the smiles.
Interesting that your animated .gif of choice is Christian Bale (from American Psycho, if I’m not mistaken). Here is a guy with great hair – takes one to know one. Any suggestions on how gentlemen with great hair can wear hats and not fall victim to the dreaded hat-head? Truly, a problem as old as time itself…
I’ll have to get back to you on how to prevent hat-head.
Hey, I’ve been doing hats for 16-17 years. Denise and Viola “forced” me to buy my first few at Viola’s, now Dive D’Luxe. I must have 25 or more. You’re right to say that it takes time feeling comfortable wearing a hat in a room of hatless women. But once I got started it was easy and now regardless of how nice the hat is or how badly I might look in it, people always compliment me. I think every woman wishes she were wearing hats, especially those who have a dozen at home and NEVER wear them!
And YOU, my dear- wear them well!
