Giving Thanks

I have lots of social networking sites: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram ~ just to name a few. ~ I also have others. This is yet another cry for help. Each is an extension of my blog and they all serve different purposes. Besides my blog followers, my most popular social networking site is for sure my More Than Turquoise Facebook page.

It is on Facebook where I will post my latest blog, random things that I think are interesting and fun, awesome items that are totally mind-blowingly on sale or just awesome items that are totally mind-blowing, and I also announce all of my giveaway winners.

We have so much fun there, one might even go so far as to say that my More Than Turquoise Facebook page is a party in and of itself. Wait. You’re not following along there too?

So just before Thanksgiving last week, I posted on Facebook some very exciting news. You see, last week I learned that I was awarded Best Blogger in this month’s edition of Albuquerque the Magazine’s Best of the City 2014!

I just can’t properly express how wonderful it feels to receive this local praise and this award from Albuquerque the Magazine most certainly validates all that I do. And this amazing news came right on the heels of the 50 States of Styles from StyleBlazer where I was recognized as one of the 50 most stylish bloggers in the nation ~ one blogger from each state. As a fashion blogger, this is the kind of stuff you strive for!

I hope you will forgive me if this all sounds a tad bit braggy ~ but I realized that I hadn’t shared any of this news on my blog itself ~ my core. I’m actually pretty darn proud of these accomplishments and if I don’t share this kind of stuff with you, how are you gonna know? #QueenOfSelfPromotion.

But even more importantly than sharing all my fab news is the importance of properly thanking all of you. You are also my core. Thank you so much for all your love and support! ♥

So I will stop shouting all of my accolades from New Mexico’s highest mountain tops and will start shouting other exciting things like: HEY ~ TODAY IS CYBER MONDAY and it is the busiest online shopping day of the year! Frankly, I don’t even know why you’re even reading my blog today. You MUST immediately click off this page and go shop.
