…on the golf course. Not the golf shoe (I was driving the cart) but, instead: The Espadrille.
We all know that the espadrille is quite popular ~ but did you know that it has been around since the 14th century? Normally the espadrille has a canvas or cotton fiber upper, with a flexible sole made of jute rope.
However, espadrilles now-a-days come in a variety of uppers and may even sport a heel and leg-wrapping ribbon.
Although mine don’t have the famous “C” on them… ONE day, Chanel espadrille..one day!…they are still great looking.
The line everyone is loving lately is Soludos. They have a huge selection of awesome espadrilles – scour their site here.
This pair is my personal fave from Soludos:
Reasonable at only $48.

I love espadrilles.
My very favorite shoe of all time–the ones here are available at the supermarket in the springtime and still have the classic, old-timey coiled hemp sole and cotton uppers in every color imaginable –SUPERB!
I am a big fan of Sanuk Sidewalk Surfers… every color and pattern you can imagine and they are super comfy! But, those Soludos are super cute.
I have these in silver leather…..love – love- love.
Love, love, love the leopard print espadrilles…and the one’s you’re wearing!
