One of the BEST things about my blog (which I’m coming up on my 10 year blog-iversary!) is all the online friendships I have formed over the years. I often receive emails from my readers with questions about fashion or seeking my opinion on a particular subject matter or (the ones that ALWAY make me smile) inquires about my dogs!
Valentino and Lagerfeld are my two little fur buddies and wherever we go they garner a LOT of attention. So today I thought I’d share what they’ve been up to lately, starting with a recent donut run.
Valentino, the little black & white Shih Tzu is now 3 years old and Lagerfeld (a/k/a Lager), the brown & white Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, is 7 months old and the question I get the most about them is How are the getting along?
I’m happy to report that TODAY they are total buddies, but it took Valentino a solid 3 months for him to even acknowledge Lager’s mere existence in our home. I know this because I’ve mainly been inside all this time and I watch their interactions, or rather …. lack there of. We were actually becoming quite concerned and wondering if we might have made a mistake with the addition of another dog to our family … even seeking guidance from our vet and then one day after dinner Valentino allowed Lager to chase his around the house and then there is was ~ play, play …. PLAAAAYYYY!
CONSTANT PLAY … PLAY ALL DAY, play! Play SO much that they keep us awake at night, kind of play and especially so since Lager has now discovered his bark. Needless to say, and thrilled to share, ~ I’M HAPPY!!!
Also fun to share is that both dogs have participated in some recent campaigns with me. Firstly, Valentino and I shot a campaign with Soft Surroundings for their Holiday Shop: Gifts for Her and a few for YOURSELF.
And then this campaign with Brutus Broth: a dog specific food topper that is fortified with glucosamine, chondroitin & turmeric created for your dogs digestive and joint health … and is apparently quite yummy!
So NOW my biggest concern with these two is … do they need an AGENT???
