I’ve been busy. VERY busy, actually, and here’s why. Meet the latest addition to our family; LAGER.

Lager is 100% named after Lagerfeld and 0% named after beer. He’s also a complete JOY and quite a handful. That’s ok ~ we needed him. Valentino has been Mr. Mopey since our other dog, Blu, passed away at the beginning of the Covid-19 breakout and we finally found him a new friend. Unfortunately Valentino isn’t really digging this new puppy action so much of my time lately has simply been spent monitoring the two of them.
I have not been the best blogger lately, but I have been a good POSTer … mainly on IG. Here are a few fun outfits I’ve posted there, starting with this really great Zara dupe set:
Ever since wrapping up watching Making the Cut, I’ve become obsessed with the winner, Jonny Cota, and have been purchasing many of his winning looks from Amazon. I have this scarf below, (this is just one of the many ways I’ve style it.), this hoodie and this unisex jumpsuit …which is fab, even with it’s MC Hammer-ish, drop crotch.

I rocked this cocoon dress with pockets in Old Town, Albuquerque recently and people did go a tad crazy over it on IG. Was it the $16 price or the fact that it’s available in 7 colors? I dunno.

And lastly, people thought that I had dashed off to Palm Springs when I posted this pic of me wearing this Cabana Life romper and these Cecelia New York sandals (both available at Soft Surroundings), but in reality I was just posing on the side of a local dental office. Palm Springs sounds so much better, doesn’t it? Why am I always Ms. Full-Disclosure?
Anyhoo ~ I’m trying my best to stay on top of my blogging roll. I’ve got some really great lifestyle products, a new video with Chico’s and, of course, more of Valentino and Lager in the hopper so stay tuned, Friends! Happy Monday. xoxo
He is so cute Jaime! We had Cavaliers growing up.
Hey there Jamie,
It’s been quite a while esp. with COVID-19. Glad to see you’re all well; I love the newest addition to your fur family. Just hope there’s no rivalry between Blu, Valentino and Lager. You’re still looking good and rocking’ the turquoise. In our mountain lifestyle, hubby, me and the kitties are good; real estate business took a hit but now back on track.
Hi Alicia, glad you are well! Sadly Blu passed away in early March and Valentino has been SO sad – even though he has ALL of our attention.
Lager just came into our lives last week. Valentino has kept away from him but every day he gets just a smidge less annoyed with him. XO
Jamie, I’m so very sorry that Blu passed away. For me, pet deaths have always been heart wrenching–leaving a hole in my heart. It reminds me of Marshie whom I always called Chocolate b/c of her chocolate points. She was an abused Siamese kitty who passed away in January 2018, 4 days before her 13th birthday. Because I miss her so much and we went through so much together, although it’s healed [somewhat], that hole is still there. Having been a pet parent for years now, I’m sure that Valentino misses Blu, perhaps lots more than we think. I believe pets grieve in their own way, therefore, having introduced Lager into the family has Valentino a bit confused. But once they begin interacting, it will all be fine and they’ll be the best of friends.
that’s the hope, Alicia and YES – there is always a hole when a beloved pet passes away. xoxoxo
Love the name and love that you have a new family member!!
We’re beyond excited, Marci – thank u!!
I’m so excited for all of you! Can’t wait to meet Lager IRL when the world finally opens up again.
PLEASE come visit! You know … *sometime*. ha!
Congratulations on your new addition! I would be lost without mine! Hairballs and all!
Same! Our dogs are totally part of the family.
