Hi there Jamie! As a long-time pet mom, I believe “they” could be those in the feline & canine circles. They [could] run the gamit from trainers, vets & animal retailers, etc. Either way, I see a resemblance between you and Sir Valentino. I just love the 3rd photo of you giving him a loving look as any loving pet mother would. On your “A Woman’s Best Friend” blog, I mentioned that these are moments we must cherish. They only happen once & can’t be recaptured. Cats & dogs fill voids, provide friendship, [unconditional] love and acceptance without caring a hoot about what we look like; only that we love them in return. That’s not asking a lot. Now that it’s full-blown winter, it get quite cold at night here in the mountains. One of my kitties, Ari’el (which means lion[ness] of God, loves to sleep under the blanket with me & my husband. Sometimes I see a “reflection” of myself in both my cats and them in me. The two of you are so blessed to have each other. Continue giving Valentino and your Labrador all the love they require & over-deliver. With that daily devotion, they will love you for it!
