Now, I don’t know about you, but I still love to receive cards. Not just holiday cards, but cards for all kinds of events like; Thank You cards, Birthday cards, Baby Showers, BBQ’s … everything. I just think a card is so much nicer than an email and, frankly, emails I space on.
So as I am about to focus on various Holiday card options, I’d like to share with you some of the fab things about Basic Invite that make them different and special.
Next is the ability to order CUSTOM SAMPLES. Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers the ability to order a printed sample of their actual invitation/card, etc. so you can see exactly how it will print, as well as feel the paper quality before you place you final order.
This, to me, is major so I ordered a few samples of different types of cards before custom holiday card order. I first ordered a business promotional postcard so I could see how they looked because as the blog shop continues to grow, I may do some different targeted marketing.
Ok, so back to my Holiday card order. I also wanted to share with you that Basic Invite has over 250 Christmas and Holiday card designs – including photo options, foil holiday cards that are available in gold, silver, and rose gold and over 40 different envelope color options. Also, if you’re going to throw a holiday party, Basic Invite has additionally got your invitations covered for Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Year.
OH ~ and if all of this isn’t quite enough, just wanted to pass along that Basic Invite is offering all of you a 30% discount off your holiday order! All you have to do is enter HOLI30 at check out. #Yahoo!
And all I’ve got to say about that is if my Holiday cards and invitations turn out as fab and cute as this one did …
I shall be one happy Basic Invite camper!
How cute is your puppy card!!
I love this post, Jamie, and I love that you send cards. The samples you show are creative, personal, and beautiful. Sadly, so many people these days think emails and texts can replace birthday cards, postcards, and other greeting cards.
I love hanging out in card shops and buying cards and notes for the special people in my life. Sometimes I make my own cards, too. People are always so surprised and tickled to receive them — ditto handwritten thank you notes. In a way, there’s something kind of sad about the fact that people are indeed surprised to get this kind of snail mail instead of a brief and easy text message … Thanks for attempting to revive this lovely practice.
Thank you, Cindy, for taking the time to write this comment. I really DO love cards as well — partially because it takes time and effort from the sender and that means something to me. I also always try to give a card that is thoughtful and relative.
I DO space on responding to email invites….
I think the concept of Basic Invite is Sensational. Maybe more people will be encouraged to actually send a card.
LOVE that you’re having a party for Valentino! He will be one tired pup! (and I love the look of the invitation…it’s adorable!)
XO!!!
Well happy first birthday to the “V”!
The “V” is such a big boy, Patty!
Oh my gosh…that Valentino steals the show every single time! Thanks for sharing the 411 on Basic Invite. The cards you created look FAB!!
Love this post on cards and may I say yours are adorable! But as a Southerner, how important we think it is to write Thank You Cards! And not send them via email! Emily Post would die! So design your own with Basic Invite. Love the idea.
An email “thank you’?! Oh no no no! I’m with YOU, Anetta!
