I’ve been trying to refrain from wearing anything 70’s inspired.
You know what I’m talking about. Those groovy peasant blouses … patchwork flared denim … corduroy mini skirts … crocheted sweater vests … clunky heels.
It kind of makes me giggle that we’re seeing these looks again. I mean, been there ~ done that.
Although I was a little girl in the 70’s, my sister and I rocked many of these looks. I see them in every childhood picture of me. Ughh. I’m just sayin’, it’s going to take a lot for me to consider rocking any of them again.
These boots, though. 💣
S H O P E M’ :
I have the same pair of boots and I love them.
They’re a great neutral.
70s boots and music are never out of style 🙂 Rock on!
I agree. (radio station of choice: 70s)
The SEVENTIES ROCKED! I don’t need to revisit it…..I never left it. After the disaster of the 80’s when fashion went down into a dark rabbit hole, I clung to my fringe, platforms, and wide flair jeans. I bought suede artist coats, bell sleeve bloused…mostly from Paris. I survived the 80’s. I endured the 90’s. Then, a funny thing happened. Free style seemed to take over. Perhaps, it was fast fashion and the internet…access to all choices at different price points. I still wear that suede artist coat. Sadly, my flair jeans had to be given away…and my “F..k Viet Nam” tee shirt mysteriously disappeared in my mother’s washing machine, but I am buying fringe and bell sleeves again. Platforms are cool and so is anything else “70’s” Rock on, Jamie! Peace, Love, Dove
Ha! I love this comment. I still have some fab heeled clogs from the early 80’s. My husband would love if they would somehow disappear like your tee shirt.
I loved my white patent leather gogo boots so much I slept in them! They went well with my maxi dress! ha!
Oh my gosh, Kim. Too funny!
Yep, there are some garments that I also think I’m done with.
You’re looking great here, a simple color palette and very well fitting items. Nicely done.
Thanks, Lorena!
“These boots. though” says it all! You are rockin’ those my friend!! Great price and I love all the colors they come in!

Me, too. I’m considering the black version.
Ahhh, the ’70’s! So diverse. The first couple of years were hippie, then there was Studio 54, the DvF wrap dress, preppie, Annie Hall, the midi, Farrah Fawcett hair, Brooke Shields’ Calvins . . .
Lots of options to re-visit & update :-).
Ahh yes. I’m remembering this ALL! 🙂
Oh yeah, those boots are the awesome! 🙂
