Twice a year I build a new shoe wardrobe and my purchasing decisions are always based on shoes that I already own vs. shoes that I actually need. Or do I mean want? Anyone else get confused here … or is it just me?
Anyhoo, it was just so clearly obvious that I needed these fab light blue slithur caged sandals … which, BTW, similar versions can be purchased here and here for less or here for more ~ your call … and they have quickly become my new faves in the closet.
Below is my current collection of shoes that are on my hit list. One of these pairs may, or may not, already be in route to me. Which is YOUR fave?

OH ~ if you forgot to set your hourly alarm to vote for me for the cover of Redbook Magazine, you can make that up by voting here. (a lot) Thank you! 🙂
I got a kick out of this!
Very wonderful, fanciful booties !! I can’t possibly decide.
Great shoe choices!
So we were just having this discussion about how many new pairs of shoes we buy yearly….I need your input?
I think I probably get a new pair about every month—and I was thinking that was extravagant (not in $, but amount)—you?
And then, do you get rid of a pair, when you buy a new pair?

I usually get rid of (donate, sell, etc) shoes when I get purchase new ones. I can only creep so much into my husbands side of the closet.
Well that’s a good thing….but how many a year do you buy?
I plead the 5th. 🙂
ladies , my summer time shoes are squeaky since i am going without socks or hose ,,what do you all do
Challenging question. It depends how much I love the shoe and/or how bad is the squeak … otherwise I may have to let them go.
Sometimes putting powder in the shoe/on your foot can help….
