Now, we all know that we’re supposed to eat our vegetables.

But  did you know that your skin can benefit from vegetables, as well?

And although this cute, little guy came close …

… Farmacy recommends you put vegetables directly on your face.  Well, at least in extract form.  Huh?   Let me explain.

Meet the awesome coconut gel face masks from Farmacy.  These masks provide intense hydration and help to restore your skin’s balance.  Each mask contains potent, farm-fresh vegetable extracts that are designed to achieve different outcomes, depending upon your skin’s needs.

You see:

  • The purple broccoli extract can assist with brightening your skin,
  • The cucumber extract will provide your skin with deep moisture,
  • The kale extract can soothe your skin,
  • The carrot extract helps control skin oil, and
  • The rhubarb extract can help reduce wrinkles.

My coconut gel mask contains celery extract ~

which is designed to tighten and control my skin and to help it to appear lifted, firmer and younger looking.  Yay!  … screaming internally.

And since earlier in the week, I had had one of the

Worst …            Days …             Ever…       I was ready for it.

Ok, so all you have to do is  follow the easy, smartly worded directions  (which, BTW, I missed the part about taking  the top layer of the mask off … duhhh.) and

treated myself to a new face.  Additional note: taking the top layer off allows the mask to fit really close to the skin.  Double Duhhh

Maybe by doing so, I wouldn’t have looked quite so much like Jason.  Ok, anyhoo…

Farmacy masks are powered by Echinacea GreenEnvy™, which contains the highest known concentration of cichoric acid, a potent natural antioxidant that helps protect and firm the skin by inhibiting the enzymes that break down collagen.

The masks are super moist and there was a lot of extra product left in the wrapper, which I immediately slathered all over my neck. And even though the masks do go on moist, my skin did feel tighter and firmer.

My final opinion?  I say worth trying, especially since at the cost of $24, you receive 3 masks.  $8 for a little extra oomph for my face I consider money well spent.
