Trend Alert ~ Feathers

I have a feather coat. ~ Don’t you? (I know my friend, Amy, does.)

Feathers (real, synthetic and/or images of) are HUGE in fashion at the moment. You’ll find them in and on everything from jewelry to handbags to clothing and shoes.

Feathers are quite special to wear. I like to think of my coat as a piece of art so when I’m not wearing it, it is nicely displayed on a wall in my closet.

When creating looks with your feathered wardrobe, be sure to edit and not wear every feathered item you own at once. Otherwise, your outfit will look like a bit of a … hmmm … gaggle.

Yea! Feathers are for ALL birds–not just the flying ones! I love the humor of the peacock plume “eyes”, not to mention that your coat is Fantastic!

Wow. what a great photo. I WANT THAT COAT! I love feathers — alas and alack so do my cats. So the coat would last about five minutes in my house. Hmmm…Maybe I can get Jane or Mary Ellen to make me some jewelry. 😉
