I did… I did it again. I completely ate myself silly all throughout Europe.
My husband and I just returned from a wonderful vacation to Germany, Switzerland and France and that darn France just does it to me every time. You see, I simply can’t resist sampling a really great clafoutis, e’clair or profiterole. I also can’t NOT indulge in buttery pralinés, velvety ganache or an ooey-gooey moelleux au chocolat.
And, so…on our last day in Paris, I just really couldn’t stop myself.
Now that we are back home, however, the reality of my inability to zip my pants has me admitting that I have a bad case of: Macaron Top. ~ a condition very similar to Muffin Top.
Fortunately for me, the amazing designers at Zara created this figure-flaw hiding gathered top and
these super forgiving (all elastic waist) faux leather trousers.
These two “wardrobe saving” items are sooo amazing, I ALMOST wish…
I had ordered that banana tarte tatin.
I did promise my husband (and myself) that I would get right back on track the very moment I walked through our front door. “NO MORE sweets” ~ I proclaimed. Back to my daily exercise routine. I’m going to rid my body of ALL sugars.
I’m on it … I’M ON IT!
Oops … (that darn France and its divine macarons).
