Is there some kind of game this weekend?

It’s finally here ~ the 2014 NFL Super Bowl!  You may find this hard to believe, but football really isn’t my thing.  I’ve got to watch the Super Bowl though, right?

So, now I just have to decide which team to root for.  Either these guys

or these guys.   Hmmm…

Since white is much more flattering on me…I’M SEAHAWKS ALL THE WAY!

Now, just because I’m not a huge fan of the sport, this doesn’t mean that I’m not going whoop it up with my family and friends. I plan to properly decorate our home,  starting with this ~

I’ve got some ideas on how to set up my food table.  I can either keep it simple, or

Keeping it simple, I think my food should be too.  I’m only serving finger foods ~ like these:

Poblanos stuffed with chorizo, shrimp and rice.

sweet and spicy meatballs.

Chicken quesadillas.  Along with these simple treats~

 

Chocolate popcorn.

chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes

Chocolate covered strawberries.

Now, if for some reason I run out of ideas, I will simply consult my trusty Ultimate Super Bowl Party Guide.

So, I’m ready. GOOOOOOOOOO COWBOYS!
