.
I just returned from a FAB whirlwind trip to NYC.
In 3 days I attended 2 NYFW runways shows, met with 2 Brands, had cocktails and giggles with 2 fellow fashion bloggers, visited 1 showroom, attended 1 style blogger event, met and had my picture taken with 1 super model … Veronica Webb. YES, gurl … THE Veronica Webb! … was photographed by 1 fashion designer at the Empire State Building and survived the first NYC winter BLIZZARD of 2017.
And do you know what I learned most about all of this?
Sometimes a cape just isn’t enough. BRRR. But it was fierce. Can we talk about it?
S H O P T H E F I E R C E :
Did you only bring a cape? It is fierce but
No. I had another coat … just not a very good one. #NotMyBestPackingJob
Je suis jealous! What a great trip and experience! Great outfit 🙂

Jamie, it was great meeting you & chatting on the flight back from NYC!! Love the cape you are rocking!
Thank you, Rosalie! You made the trip back so enjoyable. I plan on sending you a separate note.
What an epic adventure. And of course, an epic photo shoot with killer shoes!
Great Cape!!
Such great pictures and of course the cape as the shoes are totally lust worthy.
Cold is temporary … fierce is forever! 😉

Truth, Dawn!
Woo hoo! Can’t wait to see & hear more about your NY fashion week experience!!!!
As a former New Yorker having lived & worked there for 30 years, I can honestly tell you that New York winters are fierce! If you’re not used to it or underdress, it can take you by surprise, esp. the wind! Yet, during NYFW, I’m delighted that you had a great time.
