See this fine ride?
Well, I’m loving it and I feel especially cool just being in its presence.

Seeing this old car lead to a fun conversation with my husband about the first cars we owned. His was an old 1945 Plymouth sedan that he purchased for $26. … Geez. I’ve spent more on lunch.
^^^ I’m interrupting this little trip down memory lane to tell you that bow guards, also known as Ketohs, need to be in your life. #FAB
And my first car was an old Datsun 4 door wagon that I blew out the clutch on …
… twice.
So, please DO share … what was your first ride?
I drove my Uncle’s chevy Nova with an AM radio and big rear speakers.
awhhh – YES, the big rear speakers. I forgot that I added a special horn to my Datsun … as well as a yellow, fuzzy foot print decal that I adhered to the gas pedal … (always accessorizing!)
El Camino, Baby!
Ah, Yes!! My first car was a 1950 White Chrysler that I purchased from my Dad for $100, paid at $20/month. That beauty was wide enough to stretch out in, strong enough to push other cars through 5-6 inch snow-fall in the mid-west, with a big-enough trunk to carry suitcases, boxes of pots and pans, boxes of dishes and silverware, and food for two. After some years I sold it at a profit for a few-year old 1960-ish white Datsun, which could barely carry anything at all, to move towards Graduate School in Ohio.
Mine was a 1958 Chevy. I paid $100, but I had to make payments.
My parents bought my Datsun but I had to pay for the insurance … which was most of my part-time, after school money. Not much $ was left for important things … like new shoes! 😩
I love too that you’re in Madrid! Been there several times during our Santa Fe trips. Love your jewelry!
Thanks, Carol! I love visiting Madrid on Santa Fe trips, as well. 🙂
Thanks for showing the love on the turquoise jewelry! Makes my heart go pitter patter. My first car was a 1965 2 door Plymouth something, lol!
