A surprise trend started to appear on the streets after the past fashion weeks came to an end.
The Trend: Layering a bustier top or bralet over an everyday shirt.
This trend has been buzzed about lately on numerous online fashion sites with lots of discussions as to whether or not it should be considered a “Do” or a “Don’t”.
Now, I actually do own a corset top that I’ve had for many years …
however a bralet has never popped into my brain as an item I should have in my wardrobe, you know, muffin top and all, so I basically took this trend off my radar.
But then I kept seeing my fave fashion bloggers wearing them, more and more celebrities sporting the look and, frankly, I could no longer avoid my corset top trying to make direct eye contact with me every time I entered into my closet.
With all this pressure, I decided I’d better give it a try.
I wore this to a lunch and received oodles of compliments. #WhyDidn’tITryThisSooner? So, Hey ~ I’m calling this a “Do”!

Julia Roberts wore this look a few years back during award season. It is a really cool look to wear but you have to have a very good shirt to wear under the bustier. Not anyone will do. You look awesome here…As always 🙂
