About a month ago, this arrived in the mail.

See!

ice

So, why in the heck am I posing with it in my kitchen?

fee1Because I’m about to plop it in the freezer.  Wait … what?  Alright, I suppose an explanation is in order here.

A while back, Vanity Planet reached out to me to see if I would like to try the Revive Professional Ice Roller.  Now, I do actually understand that ice therapy is becoming very popular and the ice roller intrigued me because it claims to:

  • Flush fluid from the face
  • Improve blood circulation
  • Tighten the jawline
  • Shrink enlarged pores
  • Soften fine lines & wrinkles
  • Eliminate puffiness &
  • Brighten under eye circles

Now, out of all of the above, my interest in trying out the ice roller was to address my quickly emerging additional chin and my puffy eye pillows.

When the ice roller arrived, I thought it was battery operated and/or had a electrical plug.  Nope ~ hence the freezer.  You literally take the ice roller out of the box, sanitize it and put it in the freezer for 4 hours or more before using it and then

eyeYou Roll.  Or, as my husband calls this …  “cold ironing my face”.

Revive provides specific directions on how exactly you should use the ice roller to help aid in lymphatic drainage.   They also indicate that the ice roller can be used to ease muscle soreness, diminish breakouts, lessen discomfort and redness before or after cosmetic treatments and soothe irritation from shaving.

And so, what do I think? Welllll … I’m kinda sitting on the fence here. The ice roller does help to de-puff under my eyes  (Yay ~ because it really does)  however, I don’t notice any changes to my chin and/or olong my jawline.  The ice roller does feel good when I roll it on my still injured sprained ankle  (Double Yay! It also helped a sore neck)  but, I’m not really sure if it’s flushing any fluid from my face or not.  Perhaps I haven’t used it long enough … ?

So ~ Here.  I.  Sit.

fenceNow, if you’re also intrigued and think you’d like to give the Revive Professional Ice Roller a whirl ~ you can do so at a totally smokin’ price.  Just use code: ICE8 at checkout and instead of paying Vanity Planet’s normal selling price of $60, using this code allows you to purchase the ice roller for only $20.  Click here to purchase … and who knows?  You may very well find yourself having fabulous results.
