I love DIY projects!  I see lots them on other blogs and they always appear to be so easy to do.  These two did not seem too difficult to me so I thought I would give them a try.  Not only were they super easy, they were very inexpensive and I was quite pleased with the outcome!  If ‘ole nimble fingers (me) can do these, surely you can too.

I must give credit where credit is due.  These DIY’s come courtesy of thanksimadeitblog.com and  honestly.wtf.com    I have provided a link to each specific project.  Both sites are quite creative and I have literally spent hours on them scouring for new ideas.

This tee cost me a whopping $3.99 and I possess my own pair of scissors.  It really does have an Isabel Marant “feel” and the fact that I clearly can’t cut in a straight line makes it even cooler to me.  Give it a try here.

I already owned this costume pearl necklace however I did purchase the gold safety pins suggested in the link.  I have oodles of pins left over that I will use for another project (and I can always remove the pins from the necklace.) I’ve seen other DIY’s where the safety pins are pinned in clusters on the front of a shirt or all over the shoulders of a trench coat.

I will say this – I wore this necklace in Paris and received many compliments on it.  At least I thought I did, they were all speaking in French! Original Gold Safety Pin Necklace post on honestlywtf.com
